Andrew

Andrew Mitchell (as told by Simon Partridge)

Andrew is the CEO and co-founder of Work Plus Development + Training. Even though Andrew does not wear a suit and has a metal bit through his eye brow, you won’t find anyone who is more focussed on creating a training organisation that will be there for your business and staff when the need arises. His favourite band is the Cat Empire, loves anything Mexican (don’t ask to see the photos!!!) and he drives the white car.

Simon is a local Englishman, favours the poms in cricket, the “pies” in AFL and can play tunes on the trumpet. Importantly, Simon’s life experiences have allowed him to think outside the square and apply various methods in order to get the job done.
Simon is General Manager of Work Plus and trains and assesses in Hospitality, Warehousing and Wholesale industries.

Peter O'Sullivan

Peter brings a breath of fresh air to the Work Plus team, literally as he likes the country life, especially working with his sheep and alpacas! Hailing from Queensland, Peter’s background is in Hospitality management, cookery, and business ownership, so it seams natural that he train and assess for us in the Hospitality and Business Services training Packages. Peter has a strong team based work ethic; much like his beloved maroon’s come State of Origin time.

Sarah Bartlett (as told by Simon Partridge)

Sarah brings to Work Plus six years of Australian fine dining knowledge. Sarah’s passion is training and development of hospitality staff and her level of expertise and experience covers both front and back of house operations. Sarah won the National Lexus ‘Young Waiter of the Year’ Runner-Up position in 2007, is a qualified chef holding her Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and has completed her Diploma of Hospitality Management. Sarah is now following her dream to pass on her knowledge and experience to others and to apply these skills to other areas of local business, not only in Hospitality. Of course, not everyone is perfect and unfortunately this is true with Sarah, as she also supports the Hawthorn Football Club!

Xavier Mouche

Xavier Mouche

Xavier Mouche hails from the French-speaking Jura region in Switzerland. During his chef’s training at Auberge de Bugnaux near Geneva Switzerland, with renowned restaurateur Christophe Ziegert, Xavier was inculcated with a respect for, and love of good ingredients. At Bugnaux, dishes were often conceived on the day with simplicity, honesty and driven by seasons and market availability.
Several years later, following a Kombi trip around the eastern half of Australia, Xavier settled in Tasmania where he enrolled at the School of Architecture and launched his new consulting company Food in Design, where he has already consulted for numerous existing and new restaurant projects. Some of these included the interior design of the eco-tourism yacht Discovery, in Strahan Tasmania. Meanwhile, Xavier also maintained his Sydney connections, where he assisted Serge Dansereau on the food styling and editing of Dansereau’s latest book Bathers Pavilion Menus and Recipes and was involved as the opening chef for the Sobo restaurant at Bondi Beach. In 2008 and 2009, Xavier took part in the University of Tasmania’s Creative Arts Summer School where he designed and taught two nine day Culinary Design workshops.
